During the working session in Seoul on August 26, KCTC and Tân Long Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), affirming their shared commitment to collaborate and actively support each other in becoming leaders in the agricultural transport sector in Vietnam. With extensive experience in transportation and supply chain management, KCTC will partner with Tân Long to establish a modern and efficient logistics system, aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and value of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market.
Established in 2000, Tan Long Group is now a leading and reputable brand in the Vietnamese agricultural market. Tan Long Group specializes in providing livestock feed ingredients, producing and trading rice, importing and exporting seeds, and mining and processing minerals. With the mission of “Shining Together with Vietnamese Agriculture,” Tan Long is committed to advancing in the field of Green – Clean – Sustainable Agriculture.
BAF Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a member of the Tan Long ecosystem, is developing and continuously enhancing a comprehensive closed-loop model known as 3F Feed – Farm – Food. This model aims to comprehensively manage every stage from sourcing feed ingredients and breeding stock to operating high-tech livestock farms, meat production and processing, and ultimately distributing the products directly to consumers.
Following this collaboration, on August 29, KCTC and Tân Long Group conducted a visit and working session at Busan Port, known for its state-of-the-art silo systems in South Korea. The visit was intended to learn and share experiences in developing logistics infrastructure, particularly specialized storage and silo systems. This is an important step to help both parties jointly develop and implement future projects, especially the planning and design of silo and agricultural storage facilities at Thi Vai Port, Vietnam. This project is considered a significant milestone in improving the storage and handling capacity of agricultural goods in southern Vietnam. According to the plan, Tân Long will develop a system of 18 silos with a total storage capacity of up to 180,000 tons and bulk warehouses capable of storing 168,000 tons, with a total investment estimated at 1,500 billion VND (~60 million USD).
The collaboration between KCTC and Tân Long Group not only benefits the participating parties but also contributes to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s agricultural sector. KCTC commits to continuously innovating and providing optimal logistics solutions, supporting both domestic and international customers in achieving their business goals effectively and sustainably.
Let us look forward to new developments from this promising partnership!
