Thai Nguyen, March 14 – KCTC Vietnam recently held a working session with the leadership of Thai Nguyen province to explore investment opportunities in the data center sector. The delegation was led by Mr. Park Hyun Bae, General Director of KCTC Vietnam, along with representatives from South Korean businesses in Vietnam.
During the meeting, KCTC Vietnam focused on key factors such as investment incentives, infrastructure, financing, workforce availability, and other support conditions. In response, the leaders of Thai Nguyen province pledged to create the most favorable conditions for the company to implement its project. Notable advantages include attractive investment incentives, modern infrastructure with available clean land and a well-developed transportation system, a highly skilled workforce trained at Thai Nguyen University, a transparent and secure investment environment, and a long-term development strategy focused on the semiconductor industry through 2030, with a vision toward 2050.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Park Hyun Bae expressed his appreciation for Thai Nguyen’s potential and the strong commitment from local authorities. KCTC Vietnam will continue to study and assess the feasibility of the project, aiming to expand investments in data centers, thereby contributing to digital transformation and economic and social growth in the region.
